35th Mallee Rover Scout Activity Camp

November 4th ,5th ,& 6th 2011

This is the camp of the year, for all of the Scouts (and Venturers, Leaders and Rovers), in the Sunraysia and surrounding Districts. Held every year on the banks of the mighty Darling River, just outside of Wentworth. The camp is an activity camp where the Scouts come to have fun and participate in the activities run by the local Rover crews.

No payments will be accepted AFTER 18th October 2011

No payments will be accepted at camp!!

This includes food, the activities and a special Camp/Blanket Badge that can be worn on the Uniform after the camp, until you get your next major activity badge!!

Venturers may attend as activity staff, but only with arrangement from the Mallee Rover Crew

 

The Camp is fully catered, and cooked, troops do not need cooking gear! Catering is Jamboree style with a central cooking/eating area. If anybody has allergies, please ensure you contact us with those details, so we can cater for your needs.

Each Troop will need to supply the following items for themselves:
- Sleeping tents

- Rubbish bags to keep camp clean

- Life Jacket (if you have got them)

Everyone MUST HAVE suitable enclosed footwear and old clothes for the commando course.
Scouts should bring a light-coloured T-shirt for screen printing.

Thongs, open top shoes and aerosols are banned for safety reasons.

As in previous years, the activities have been organized and will be run by Rovers and Venturers.

The activities will run both morning and afternoon on Saturday, and Sunday morning.

Saturday night will involve some excellent activity devised by the Rovers, just to top off a super day! So be prepared.

Please note that fire restrictions are in force at the time of the camp.

The Camp concludes with flag-down at 2pm on Sunday.
